NUWE KAMPUS / NEW CAMPUS

The new buildings for the primary and pre-primary schools on the Baobab Campus, were completed in 2016. Although the high school still occupies the Riverside Campus, we strive to move to Baobab as soon as possible.
Phase 1 of the new campus consists of 35 classrooms, 7 offices, 2 ablution blocks, a staff room, kinder garden facilities and ample playgrounds spanning 10ha in total.
We hereby wish to acknowledge Cor Syfert and the team of Windhoek Consulting Engineers for having done the electric and civil engineering work for us at no cost. In the same vein we want to thank Christo Pieterse Land Surveyors for not charging the school for their work either. Brynard Kotse and Werner Burger of Brynard Kotze Architects Inc were responsible for the design while JHP Quantity Surveyors did the costing. With Pro-Ed acting as owner-builders, we would not have been able to do this without the support of our sub-contractors, specifically Vg Developers, for making heavy equipment and vehicles available to us. More often than not this equipment was sent to the campus over weekends. Vg Developers also quoted to build the pre-primary school and school hall at reasonable prizes.
Financing remains a huge challenge, therefore we would like to thank Leon Koch and Ansie Meyer of Standard Bank for having believed in our project to such an extent, that they arranged affordable financing.
Although we were able to negotiate a loan of N$10 milion, we still had to pay for the erf as well as the sub-station and once again parents were so kind as to lend us the outstanding N$4 milion.
Although the school hall and sports fields were supposed to be part of Phase two, most work on these has been completed. Thanks to Morne Burger of Rotary Engineering and his team, the rugby fields are beautifully green and athletes can already utilise the sports grounds. The cricket nets are almost ready, as is the pitch. All that is still needed to finish off the hockey fields, is the Astro turf.
A sincere word of thanks to each parent and business who has been helping to make this much progress towards fulfilling our dream.
Thus, we have reached the end of phase 1,5 of the Baobab Campus. Phase 2 involves the sale of the Riverside Campus as well as erecting 20 more classrooms on the Baobab Campus.
Regardless of challenges, God has been with us all the way during the course of this huge project. May we use these very same facilities to glorify His name!
